“There’s no place like Barça.”
Thiago Silva vs Pazzini @ San Siro Stadium 2.04.2011.
L’urlo del Diavolo.
When I sit down in front of a streaming and I watch my team losing, like, in such stupid ways, it gets me fucking pissed off. Sometimes I hate, I fucking hate my players, ‘cause actually they’re paid for doing what millions of people would do for free, and sometimes they’re so far from giving the best of themselves.
We all perfectly know there’s corruption everywhere, lots of money floating around, widespread manipulation, so I’m not here to defend my team to death ‘cause we’re not like other clubs. I’m sorry, we actually are.
We are one of the most important clubs of the entire history of football, of course we corrupted, of course we manipulated, of course we cheated. It’s a true fact, just deal with it.
I think there have been such incredible men in our team, and they sweated, and they fought, and they’re still attached to the colors of their - of our - club, like a religion, like an old friend, like a deep perpetual love.
I think we have a great history.
I think there were victories we maybe didn’t deserve, I think there were matches we could have won.
When I sit down in front of a streaming and I watch my team losing, like, in such stupid ways, I may think it all was planned, it all was decided, ‘cause I’m like this, so distrustful. But after all, my players are human. And like other players have done before them, they sweat, they fight, they’re disappointed after a bad match.
Some of them may leave tomorrow, some of them may stay until the end.
I will stay until the end.
I will be fucking pissed off, I will support them, I will hate them, I will watch them, until the very end.
